This page describes what happens to information when you use this site.
Your photographs never leave your device
The test bench applies grades to a photograph you choose. That photograph is read by your own browser, rendered on a canvas on your own device, and never transmitted anywhere. There is no upload, no server-side processing, and no copy kept. Close the tab and it is gone.
This is a technical fact about how the page is built, not a promise about how we behave. You can confirm it by opening your browser’s network panel while you use it.
What we collect
When you buy. Our payment provider collects the details needed to take payment and send your files: your name, your email address, and billing information required for tax. They act as the merchant of record and hold that data under their own privacy policy. We receive your email address and your order details so that we can deliver the files and support you.
When you browse. We use analytics to understand which pages are read and where visitors come from. This is configured to anonymise IP addresses. We may also use a session-replay and heatmap tool to see where people get stuck on a page.
When you write or subscribe. The contact form and the pack-letter signup send your name, email address and message to us by email. Both forms sit behind Cloudflare Turnstile, which scores the human check in the visitor’s browser and sends only the verification result to our server; Cloudflare’s own privacy policy covers its widget. Newsletter addresses are held in our email provider’s audience list until unsubscribe or removal on request.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it except with the providers needed to run the shop.
Cookies and local storage
The site stores one preference locally: whether you have chosen the light or dark display mode. That stays in your browser and is never sent to us.
Analytics tools set their own cookies. If you block them, every part of this site continues to work.
If you join the list, we use your address to send occasional notes about new packs. Every message has an unsubscribe link and we do not pass the list to anyone.
How long things are kept
Order records are kept as long as tax law requires. Analytics data is kept in aggregate. Nothing about the photographs you test is kept at all, because nothing about them ever reaches us.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, subject to records we must keep for tax. Write to the address in the footer.
Children
This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this page changes materially we will note it here with a new date.
