Haldi

Indian wedding frames arrive at the edit already loud. Red lehenga, gold thread, marigold everywhere, and skin that has to stay believable through all of it. The usual warm preset pushes red until the fabric blocks up and the face goes orange.

Haldi separates the two. The red channel lifts on a gentle curve that leaves the top end alone, so a saturated lehenga keeps its folds. Blue drops only in the midtones, which warms the ambient light without dragging skin with it.
