What this pack does
Shot at noon, most Indian street colour comes back flat and slightly blue. The sensor is not wrong, it is just honest about a light your eye was already compensating for.
Kerala Gold puts the compensation back. Reds and yellows lift together through the midtones, blues drop in the shadows so the shade reads warm instead of grey, and contrast comes up just enough to separate a painted wall from the building behind it.
It holds up on ochre, on turmeric yellow, on the specific green of a tiled roof, and on skin in open shade. It falls apart, deliberately, under fluorescent light, so do not reach for it indoors.
